What a wonderful holiday camp! My 7 yr-old daughter came home with a large canvas and an even larger painting on quality art paper. I was genuinely surprised with what she managed to create: their step by step approach supports children throughout to ensure the images look like the example image…while ensuring it is all their own work and without stifling their own ideas and creativity. My daughter was so proud of herself. Kind staff and a lovely location with space to play outside at lunchtime. We will definitely do another one.(pics show the adult example and 7 yr-old’s version)

I initially only booked one day for my 7 year old son who likes drawing but I was worried he may feel it felt a bit like ‘school’ during the holidays. After the first day he came home saying he wanted to do day two. The days were themed so Easter bonnet was day 1 and painted on a canvas. Day two was Moon Landing and a watercolour painting. He absolutely loved the two days and produced some amazing work. I highly recommend it and will definitely send him again. Thanks ArtShed!

This week I enjoyed my second "Give it a go" workshop. I painted Starry Night in oils in Kathy's shed. I arrived a complete novice and with Kathy's expert tuition, left painting like a pro. I can highly recommend these workshops.

My friend asked me along to the Artshed Have-A-Go art class for adults, with the inspiration being Van Gogh's famous Sunflowers painting! The booking process was straightforward and Kathy our tutor warmly welcomed us from the start. She was very clear and concise with her instructions to make the most of our time there. The time flew by too quickly (I didn't even feel it on a post-work Monday night) and I was pleasantly surprised at the result, considering it was my first ever attempt at painting on a proper canvas and dabbling in acrylics! I would definitely consider returning again for a future class, and hope to build on my skills! Thank you Artshed!

Such a wonderful, relaxed and well run camp. My children loved it! So fantastic for them to have opportunities to work with different art media, be creative and learn new skills. The art pieces that my children have brought home are amazing! Thank you ArtShed!

Artshed is Amazing!

This truly is a fully inclusive space. This is so wonderful to experience as a parent of a neuro-diverse child.

My daughter has Down Syndrome, and they fully welcomed her and adapted and made provisions so she could enjoy the group session.

The staff are amazing, creative and caring.

My daughter came home will an amazing piece of artwork that she created and it now sits beautifully framed on our wall. She had a great time.

I would fully recommend any parent to send their child to these sessions.
