Course:
ICorr Lvl 1 Coating Inspection Course, course was well laid out with good mix of theory and practical learning, classes are small in numbers and offer plenty of time with the teacher 1 on 1 and in small groups.

Teacher:
Kevin was a great instructor and provided plenty of real world example photos and many stories of various inspections.

Facilities:
Modern and clean, well equipped with well kept equipment.

Staff:
All staff was wonderful and accommodating.

Provided Lunch:
Dinner provided during course was a nice well filled sandwich and crisps. Various choices to chose from at the start of the week.

Overview:
Great Training Facility for inspection courses!

Carried out the coating inspector level 2 course with Simon Hope I was impressed by the level of details and all the knowledge required to pass trough this examination let's see how the rest of the examination goes. Very good experience is this training center

For work I needed to undertake the ICOR course when I arrived at the Argyll Ruane site we were introduced to our instructor Kevin.

The course is very full on all the time but he made it exciting.

The lunch was excellent
The instructor was excellent
And the facilities were excellent.

I would recommend this course if anyone asks in the future

Having failed my specific paper for MT Level 2 at another company, I was recommended to do my resit at IMECHE by a friend. What a recommendation it was, I was given an hours pre test tutoring by Tony, who was really knowledgable, a very good teacher and above all, a really sound bloke. Following my tutoring, I went to see Richard, who directed me to the exam room and handed me my paperwork. Once I finished, he collected the exam and marked it there and then, I passed with flying colours and can’t thank Tony and Richard enough for their help. Tony for delivering such amazing pre exam tutoring and Richard for being extremely accommodating and helpful in getting me in for my resit so quickly. Can’t wait to come back here towards the end of the year to do my Level 2 UT….brilliant company!

As an NDT Technician requiring PCN certification + accreditation in Penetrant Testing the way IMechE Argyll Ruane set out the possibility to undertake two of the five day course to be completed through an online blended learning course helped me massively have a comfortable and stress free final 3 days to concentrate on the practical and final exams, as the course material and structure for the theory was explained and delivered excellently using easy to follow modules and assessments which were accessible to return back to as much as you'd like during your own time making it for easy learning. with also adding the option to speak with tutors directly online it made my learning experience as best as it could have been. Fantastic Work by IMechE in creation of Blended Learning courses and look forward to using this format on many other NDT methods.

Staff are professional, but UT test & sample pieces are not comparable. If you want to pass your UT, look elsewhere.
