Dangerously below par. Marie the “counsellor/therapist” did more harm than good. She should consider retraining at the very least. Listening, disingenuous compassion, with the odd ‘aw that wasn’t good was it’ is not the same as professional, insightful guidance to understand and process trauma and abuse. Needs exposing. I did leave a message but call was not returned. Feel I have a duty of care to stop this woman pretending she has the skills to help people in their darkest times. To have the courage and trust to seek out that help and be so horrendously short changed is criminal.

I’ve just seen the most awful review from Leanne Edwards, regarding Marie Rhodes, and feel I must counteract it with my own experience.
My husband and I have been seeing Marie for a number of years now, and I can honestly say that without her counselling, my husband would not be here today.
After years of being ‘in the NHS system’, my husband was not getting the help he needed and was getting worse.
After suffering for many years with depression, anxiety and OCD he finally reached rock bottom. He was suicidal. I contacted Marie and she saw us the same day. Over the next few weeks, we saw her every other day, then every 3 days, and slowly extended the gaps between sessions. She is the most professional, kind, sympathetic, understanding counsellor we have ever seen. I say again, without her, my husband would be dead..
She has a way of getting him to open up to her that no-one else has ever managed. She is firm with him, when necessary and won’t let him avoid a subject just because it is uncomfortable to talk about.
She lets him talk, without interrupting him. She encourages him when she feels he needs it. She doesn’t rush him. She doesn’t bomb bard him with questions. She listens.
Her advice has been life changing for us as a family. My husband has his life back. There are still issues to be addressed and with her help he will keep on improving.
I can’t speak highly enough about this wonderful lady. She is a credit to her profession!

Who is this Leanne Edwards!!.... I would love to meet her!!. Firstly I cannot believe people like her are allowed to leave such appalling posts. Her rude, arrogant and liable comments should not be taken as anything near to the truth about Marie Rhodes....
Sounds like because she didn't get a call back, she decided to spew her
vitriolic, vile drivel on to someone who deserves nothing but praise!
I have been to see Marie Rhodes for the last seven years and experienced nothing but professional care and attention. I don't know what her problems are, but I'll bet she was were treated in exactly the same way I was. I cannot let her totally untrue and cruel comments go without vigorously contesting them for what they are..... TOTALLY FALSE !!!
Did she make any other effort to contact Marie and discuss the matter further before posting these lies?... probably not, because her kind don't care who they try to professionally destroy and condemn on a whim. I hope Marie takes this libellous post and sues her for deformation of character and asks for witnesses, of who I will be the first in line to testify!!
But alas, I fear Marie is too good natured to do so.
Oh.... and to attack someone who is unable to defend themselves in a
public arena is at best sad and cowardly!!.. Amazing how people hide behind keyboards.. ask them to say it face to face?... never happens.

I saw a physiotherapist here and she's been life changing
I've had a back and neck pain issue for months after a car accident and despite visits to other therapists went unresolved. After just one visit Gill had identified the two problems and gave me immediate help
She has explained time that after the next visit it will again be improved.

The medical centre was good, with a comfortable relaxed waiting room. Lots of literature around motorbikes to flick through. I found the fact there was a reception desk, but nobody worked on it a little confusing on my first visit, though once I was aware to just walk in and sit in the waiting area I was fine. Quite liked it to be honest, especially with the staff running to time. Nice therapy rooms, and tea/coffee provided. I was very happy with my visits.

I saw Marie for help with my addiction. One of the best counsellors I've been to. Very understanding, didn't judge, felt at ease talking to her. Would def recommend to others.
