Unfortunately ASIST have proven to be a complete waste of time. They continually do not do what they say or agree to do. The end result is I've received virtually no real assistance whatsoever & simply wasted around 6 months of valuable time.
This charitable, non-profit organisation raises around £1 million per annum which seemingly pays for around 25 reasonably well paid staff to give in my case, little support. When you try & raise concerns with them, the line manager just gets obtuse, awkward & begins to raise their voice & talk down to you in an insulting manner, again not very helpful for a patient asking for assistance.
I would really think twice before contacting this organisation, I for one cannot recommend them at all.
