Great for who love animals! Especially for young children. You can get very close to the sheep, goose, bunnies, chicken etc. £10 per person for entry. We brought ticket at the door. Many Free parking slot. You can buy food for feeding the animals which located up on the hill.
There is a truck for you to ride to go around the whole farm. A tea house for food and drinks but it’s closed as we arrived late. Also a hand craft workshop for youngers! Good place for family with children. An indoor and also outdoor children park inside Kent life. Nice to have a wonderful bday party there as well.

Absolutely excellent day out on a sunny day. We enjoyed the lot, tractor ride, feeing animals and petting them, loved the owls and the old buildings and stories behind them. Hot chocolate and cake at the cafe was also delicious. My daughter upgraded to a year membership, which was cheaper as they took the £10 off she already paid for her ticket. Can't recommend enough.

Our visit to see Father Christmas this year was lovely. The only thing the kids missed was the petting corner, where the last time they held the rabbits and guinea pigs. Otherwise, the tractor ride, reindeer food making, farmyard, etc, was all very good.

Small, but very interesting place. Very good price too. Mostly typical UK farm animals, plus some extras like alpacas, owls, meercats and other animals.
Good use of space with different areas for kids to play away. And lots of other activities.
The cafe has good food, although it's quite small inside. We went on a very cold day, so no one was using the outside space for eating.
I would give this 5 stars. But I was a bit annoyed about one thing.
They have an outside eating area with a pizza van. I asked what time they closed (they confirmed 3pm) because we thought about grabbing some takeaway pizza when we left for an easy dinner. I specifically told them we'd be back.
At about 2pm, we were leaving and passed the pizza place. But it was long closed! So we were a good hour before the supposed closing time, yet they'd closed.
I know it's not the end of the world and it was a minor inconvenience. Just a little annoying they'd closed so early.

But, otherwise, we had a lovely day out. And we'll definitely be going back. I have a pizza with my name on it!

I think as farms go, this had a lot on offer, for young children and history lovers. There was the indoor play area, and the outside park, the paint a pot was brilliant, and lots of historical buildings including an Anderson shelter, and chapel. It was lovely, there was the option of feeding the animals, and a tractor ride! We honestly loved it, however we only stayed a couple of hours, as we had walked round once and that was enough for the kids. I think it's worth visiting, but for the price of entry, I am unsure of visiting again. Other than that, I was truly impressed.

We visited Kent life on a Monday, as an adult couple (no children) and thoroughly enjoyed our time.

You are advised to book online prior, so the farm can monitor the amount of guests, we ended up booking our tickets in the car park - not advised due to the bad signal 😂

The farm is easy to navigate, and there are signs all over to help if needed.

The farm has so much to offer, I was slightly hesitant after reading reviews and seeing photos as it seemed a very kiddy place however I had nothing to worry about. The farm has tons of history, the old houses/cottage’s which all have a story & very cool to see. There is a large range of animals, you can purchase bags of food at the entrance and can feed the animals at the top of farm (pigs, alpacas, goats & sheep)

There is a cafe which we went into and wanted to get a hot dog but they didn’t have any left, so we went to the tea room which had plenty of option - we got a sausage baguette, slice of caramel cake and a biscoff hot chocolate, all very tasty and came to around £12.

There are hand washing facilities all over, and signs highly advising this after touching the animals etc.

As mentioned, we did go on a Monday which was a good choice, I feel it may get slightly busy on a weekend.

Overall, absolutely loved the place and would recommend to anyone - even couples with no children.

I've been to many farms but this one is by far the most sloppy I've been. The only thing that I liked were the old buildings and the concept(but this isn't atractive to a kid anyway). The goats seemed very skinny, the barn where the rabits are is very cold, I hope in winter they have heat on as they are very sensitive, the gardens were awfull, full of weeds, rats were eating apples in the orchid etc etc. I wouldn't recommend. See the pictures. Some areas are not suitable for stroller. More attention to the animals please, at least!!!

Great day out for families.Lots of farm animals to see. Outdoor play area and indoor play area too.
Farm train is always fun, and pottery decorating for older children.
Not to discourage those without families as there is a good walk to do, old houses to see, ( very nostalgic with all the old thingsvin the house) allotments and herb garden with a lovely little cafe. Not forgetting owlery ( although shut the day we went so can not comment)
I am sure you will enjoy your day out here.
If I lived locally and had a family, I would definitely consider membership as they also run a lot of events.
