Left an obviously negative star-rating previously - really sorry, I was drunk (not uncommon for me) and feeling bitter. These guys deserve a 4; I was particularly fond of several of them and they helped me through a tough time. Really enjoyed getting to know them, their openness, compassion and warmth. There were a few hicks along the way where I think some of them could have done better; the same goes for tenants. But we’re all human. I wasn’t perfect either. Sorry for my bad bits, at times I plainly behaved poorly. I feel that nearly all of the staff did their job very well the overwhelming majority of the time. Largely, I felt a sense of comfort during my stay. I was fond of the living room (in particular the what were in my opinion, rather comfy sofas), cool conservatory and pleasant little garden. I appreciated that I was listened to thoroughly. I loved watching midnight films, especially with kind-hearted staff members doing the night shift, that humoured me and provided company when I needed it. I wish all of you the very best, with some extra affection devoted to specifically six of you, and I hope you know who you are - you know if you not only did right by me, but went the extra mile. M reminded me of my second favourite person I’ve met during my entire life - my wise, gregarious, very awesome French and football teacher at the prep (I’m now a NIN and Trent mega-fan, haha😊. I’m at a healthier time in my life now, and I’m able to reflect on what a2a did for me concretely - they progressed my recovery, among many other things, and that means a lot. Thanks for reading.
