Genuinely the best mental health service and people around.
We are so lucky to have them in Nottingham.
If only the public services like Crisis and A and E mental health team actually followed the same procedures, people would feel more validated and supported.
Arrived tonight, no appointment, non judgemental. I wasn't even there for myself, but once my loved one was taken in, I was asked if I'd like to speak to someone too (we had already explained some of what we were progressing re a recent trauma) i nearly cried when asked, as I felt cared about.
I have used this service for a loved one previously as well and can not rate them higher.
I just wish more people knew about them as a service, so people could actually get genuine, crisis, support.
Although that said you don't need to talk about your trauma either. You talk about what you need too.

Most Staff know me very well and are amazing and helpful . Crisis Sanctuary has helped me . I would Recommend this place

Some staff Do sleep whilst on my intervention or don’t have upstanding around mental health issues.

However, Wellness in Mind services Should branch out to Gedling residents , Although mainly focused on Nottingham city Residents only

The people here have genuinely suppoted me through some really challenging situations. my mum brought me in after having a severe panic attack and they immediately helped assist me and support me i was supported for 1&1/2 hours as i spoke and let everything out and then was given some helpful forms to help with regulating myself and coping and distracting my mind from traumas around me, i truly couldn't thank these guys enough . not only have i benefited but also my family i brought my loved one here after some attempts on his life and they truly saved him and i couldn't be more greatful for this team. thank you guys so much!
u guys are much better than some well known systems and i wish you guys could be recognised for how amazing you are!

If you need help and/or support in Nottingham
THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO.

10/10, I constantly recommend this service to anyone I can, as it’s been absolutely instrumental in keeping me going.

Especially given the current state of the NHS, being handed over from one service on the phone to another, and the evenings being so difficult, the support available from 6-11pm is insanely helpful, or at least to me.

I have visited here many times in the last half year as my life has been very challenging and I’ve unfortunately had many crises.

The staff are ALWAYS fantastic, mindful, kind and knowledgeable about what they are doing. In my experience every single person here works very hard and I really feel like they care that you’re having a tough time, and if there is no immediate solution, the way they listen to me is a huge help in itself.

They always have great resources and information to share if there is anything that could be helpful to you.

This is a safe place. I think the NHS should follow suit of this sort of program/approach.
