I’ve attended quite a few Wellbeing and Art based courses with SS&L over the past few years and have thoroughly enjoyed each & every one of them - wellbeing through art, gel plate printing, painting etc. I’ve learned new skills, and relearned and progressed with old skills, and gained confidence. I’ve met new lovely people as well sharing my journey.
My latest course was Big Felting and it has enabled me to be more confident with larger felting projects - not simply with regard to size, but more to do with ‘grander’ projects taking me out of my comfort zone.

I did the GCSE maths online course with Josh the tutor. It was fast paced, but the amount of resources, both online and presented was huge, so I could select the ones that best suited my own learning style and requirements. The support from Josh was of the very highest standard, nothing appeared to be too much trouble. I should add that I am of senior years, and never once did I feel patronised, or left out but I did feel respected. I was welcomed by all the staff and other participants. This was inclusion in action, not a tick box. I highly recommend SS&L courses, whatever your age or personal position.

I started my course in early years last November with Somerset skills and learning. Thank you to my tutor Sophie she made me feel welcome and I was able to ask for extra help if I needed it. Sophie was always on hand to help with an questions I had and the support she has given me has been brilliant! I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to work with children in early years.

I had a best experience in SS&L . I took English courses with my wonderful teacher Millie. She is always supporting us in our learning and explains the lessons in a very good way . Millie is not just a teacher she is a friend who was always there . Whenever we asked her about something she tried her best to help us .

Georgie makes everything about makeup interesting, she’s very knowledgeable and up to date within the beauty industry.

I’ve learned so many hints and tips that have really improved the way I apply my makeup now in later life.
