Worse than useless. Was given appointment and called to change to the same time next day. Whilst this was agreed, I was called at the original time that I could not make. I then called back later that day to inform them of their anomaly only to to be told I had missed the appointment and was discharged. I really need help and I could not have happened at a worse time. Be cautious of their admin procedures.

Terrible. They only add to any mental health issues. Check your appointment is with a Doctor and not one of the”mental health assessment teams” ! Sorry to the good ones that work there but your dealing with peoples life or death issues and you need to make sure staff are up to such important work. And out of interest…… what qualifications does it need to be a part of the “Assessment Team”?

I look after my mother of 78 who has dementia she has worked her whole life paid in like millions of other people. But if you think they will help you when you need it most they do nothing they just try to pass you off to your GP or other departments when it's clearly their responsibility total waste of time

I'm genuinely surprised by the amount of one star reviews, because I've found real help here. I was seen here around ten years ago and started being seen again around six months back. I find the staff friendly, considerate, and well organised. I currently have a weekly appointment, which I look forward to, and I always feel progress has been made.

In fact, the reason I stopped being seen here ten years ago was only because I'd progressed enough that I no longer needed the help.

Six months ago, I was such a slump that life no longer seemed living. Now I'm losing weight, I'm eating better, I'm getting exercise, and I'm enjoying doing things again. It's not all because of Coleman House, but they were definitely a big help.

If you have any condition that isn't treatable with drugs, they can't do anything for you.

You could turn up saying you want to die and they will turn you away due to being too busy.

They have really bad security and resource management.
So bad that I've received paperwork for ANOTHER patient, with a similar name!
I would have reported it if I knew who to talk to.

Maybe just read self help articles. It's probably more effective.

Absolutely shocking mental health organisation. Told me that I couldn't have counselling as I'd not yet told them right now that wanted to kill myself alongside the comparison that you wouldn't seek treatment for a broken leg until it's broken absolutely shocking. I thought the idea was prevention but obviously I'm wrong. Also got my files mixed up with my sister who has very different mental health problems so unprofessional. The staff even disagree with each others decision making so if that doesn't say something then what does. Avoid by a mile.
