Attended BSL and deaf awareness held at the YMCA. Jason is a fantastic tutor, patient and understanding. Teaching quality has been consistent and easy to understand. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to understand British Sign Language.

BSL Deaf Awareness - Tutor Jason Trotter
This is a brilliant introduction for anybody who wishes to learn a little BSL. It is well presented and interesting and will give you a good foundation in BSL. Jason is an excellent teacher and offers good support throughout. There is a little assessment at the end of the course which combines everything learnt over the 10 week course

I’ve loved learning BSL with Jason, he’s a kind and patient teacher, and I’m surprised by how much I can do after 10 weeks. It’s also been profound to open up a new way of communicating with my partner who is losing his hearing. It’s really empowered us and I wish there was a more advanced course offered to do next. I have enjoyed my time at oncourse southwest. I have been on functional skills english course with Phil Jolly . Here's hoping I have past my level one if not I will take it again. Have been on this course with lots of friendly people and have made friends . well worth all the effort .Nice friendly place to go with nice friendly staff especially the reception thank you.

I attended the Introduction to Neurodiversity course at Hyde Park House.

The course met expectations in terms of content and learning and exceeded expectations with respect to the knowledge and experience of the course tutor. There was a good mix of activities to suit all learning styles and to engage healthy discussion and share experiences.

The venue was fit for purpose, comfortable and welcoming with appropriate amenities.

I would highly recommend the watercolours for beginners course with Stacey Hunter at oncourse Southwest. I have really enjoyed reconnecting to a childhood passion, with a wonderful tutor who is kind, caring and patient. I have signed up to the next course again with Stacey, as I feel comfortable and encouraged.
